Visit England: Why You Can’t Beat The Views Of ‘Cheddar Gorge’

Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to see some amazing sights and experience some incredible places, but for me there is one view that is right up there at the top of my favourites in the world.

The view from a place I like to go to ‘escape’ the stresses of daily life and appreciate the beauty that surrounds me. A view I believe everyone should see for themselves and one that will never ever get old for me, and that is the view from the top of Cheddar Gorge in Somerset, England.

Welcome to one of England’s ‘Natural Wonders’

This is Britain’s biggest Gorge and one of the most impressive in the world. The views from up top can simply not be beaten at golden hour, as you watch the large reservoir and country village glisten as you tower over 400ft above it.

When at home there is nothing I love to do more than explore Somerset and beyond, discovering new adventures to share with you all to inspire locals and my fellow Brits to get exploring more of our beautiful country- and this view of my home village of Cheddar really does a lot of the talking for me.

There are so many other things to enjoy in Cheddar too; prehistoric history, nature reserves, some of the largest caves in Europe, Cheddar Cheese, Cheddar fudge, breathtaking views, country pubs to relax in after a long day of exploring and of course, Cider. Yeah Cider is kinda a big deal here, and I may be a bit bias, but you can’t beat Somerset when it comes to Cider!

But let’s get back to those views because I could just stay up there all day taking it all in…
