My November: Leah

I’ve been a bit (a lot) rubbish of late, so I thought I would the start of December to update you all on some of things that have been going on over the past month (and a bit longer, as I haven’t actually done one of these since September – shame on me!), as well as using this as a platform to say a big sorry for being so rubbish! I love blogging, and wish I could spend my entire working week blogging, but I’ve just really struggled to find the time to do any over the past couple of months… unfortunately, as sometimes is the case, and I’m sure many of you will have experienced, life just gets in the way.

But, December is a new month, so I’m going to to try and up my efforts and get back into the swing of things. I’m not going to try and do Blogmas or anything like that, because, let’s face it, I’ll be lucky if I manage to write 3 blog posts a week, let alone DAILY! But I will be posting a few things this month, so stay tuned!

Anyways, back to what this post is meant to be about… my monthly update.

monthly update november

November (and October for that matter) has been a pretty hectic month, with lots of boring things like work, decorating and the like, but also a few exciting things too! At the end of October,  I headed down to Brighton (I’ll be putting a post up soon!) for a friend’s Hen Party. It was such a fun weekend with a great group of people – and the weather was glorious for us, which made for some lovely shots of the pier! I’ve been to Brighton before, but had forgotten how nice a city it is – I’ll definitely be planning a trip back there soon!

November was a month of birthdays, with both Lee’s mum and my sister celebrating theirs – which obviously meant lots of cake, yummy food and cocktails! I love any excuse to spend time with family- and to eat cake of course! I also made a valiant effort in November to get into the festive spirit. Cue Christmas shopping, buying all kinds of gorgeous festive wrapping and decorations, drinking as many festive hot drinks as possible, and planning in trips to go and see the German Christmas Markets in Bristol and Bath.

Hopefully you’ll be seeing much more of me this month – and I’ll definitely be putting up some festive posts over the coming few weeks – so keep an eye out for them!

Hope you all have a great December!
