My May: Leah

Another month has been and gone, and while I’m struggling to see how on earth we have managed to get to June already (seriously, time is going scarily quickly!), I’m actually pretty happy it’s here, as I have lots of exciting things going on this month, which I’m sure I’ll update you all on in a few weeks!

But anyways, back to last month… It was a pretty busy one – though I feel like they are all like that at the moment to be honest! I started off the month with a friend’s hen party, which was so much fun – although the hangover the next day was NOT. I also had a really lovely day visiting my family for my baby brother’s 18th birthday celebrations (yay cake)… if anything will make you feel old, it’s your baby brother turning 18! And then the following weekend, I had a nice quiet weekend – taking a trip to one of our favourite little local towns, Clevedon, to stroll along to seafront and catch some much needed sunshine, and then heading down to see my family for my dad’s birthday (more cake)!

I also managed to catch up with some of my favourite ladies – enjoying my fair share of cake along the way (oops!). I’ve spent a good bit of time planning for June – I have a wedding this month, followed by a trip to Portugal, so my time seems to have been filled up with panic-buying holiday clothes, and helping to sort out hen parties.

Finally, last weekend, I had the BEST time. It started with looking after my gorgeous nephew for a couple of days over half term, while my sister worked. It was so much fun just hanging out with him and watching ALL the kids movies Netflix has to offer. Then on Sunday, me and Lee, along with my sister and nephew headed up to London for a couple of days. The first day, we got there quite late, so just headed into the centre for some food – we ate at Bodeans in Soho, and honestly fell in love with the food – cannot recommend enough! Then on day two, we went into Watford for the Harry Potter Studio Tour. I went a couple of years ago with the girls, but really wanted to take my lovely nephew – especially now they have the Hogwarts Express there. As I’m sure my fellow GIPDs would agree – there’s definitely no such thing as too much Harry Potter! For any other Potterheads out there, you can find our Harry Potter Gift Guide here!

What did you guys get up to last month?
