Disneyland Paris- Which Hotel?

I’m not sure if anyone has noticed by now but I have to admit that I have a slight obsession with the happiest place in Europe- Disneyland Paris. No matter what anyone says, I’m not willing to let go of the nostalgic rush I get every time I go just yet (AKA Ever).

Now that I have been several times as an adult I feel I should share some tips to help others save some money and/or have the best stay possible. I know for a fact that many people go straight for the Disney Hotels when booking a stay- which is great if you just want Disney themed everything and park tickets included -but I would definitely recommend considering one of the partner hotels instead. Here are my top suggestions…

Budget

Kyriad Disneyland

This French countryside style hotel is perfect for families on a budget. The hotel itself is set besides a beautiful lake and offers plenty of space for the little ones to explore but is themed to suit most adult taste. The rooms are comfortable and are good sizes, we actually managed to have four adults in a family room for a three night stay (a double and a bunk-bed). It also offers a great buffet breakfast each morning and the staff are all friendly and extremely helpful. As with all partner hotels the Kyriad offers a free regular shuttle service to the parks, which takes approx 15 mins (the park is really only 5 minutes away but you stop at a handful of hotels on the way).

Residhome Prestige Val d’Europe Aparthotel

Hands down, best value for money. Not quite as close as the other hotels listed but it is located right next to the RER station and is just one stop away from the parks. This apartment style hotel not only offers comfortable beds and spacious rooms but you also have your own kitchenette area- great for making money-saving-lunches and eating breakfast in the comfort of your room! It really is like a home away from home and such incredible value, we have stayed here previously from as little as £50 p.p for three nights in a 4 person apartment!

Luxury

Dream Castle Hotel

Not quite for those on a budget, but one for those looking for that special touch without forking out for the on site Disneyland Hotel. This hotel is just as beautiful and grand, in fact for adults looking for luxury this is the hotel for you. Not quite as expensive as you may think, after all it is 4 star not 5, but nevertheless if you’re going to stay here I would recommend spending the extra and opting for the suites. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and my oh my, it’s like having your own apartment in a castle. As with all partner hotels the Kyriad offers a free regular shuttle service to the parks, which takes approx 15 mins.

Magic Circus

Another 4 star but one with a slightly lower price tag, this fun and wonderfully designed hotel offers the same comfort as it’s sister hotel, the Dream Castle. The absolute highlight at this hotel is the buffet breakfast; served in a huge circus themed room, the buffet on offer is one of the best I have ever experienced. The beds were also the comfiest we experienced during our stay and the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. As with all partner hotels the Kyriad offers a free regular shuttle service to the parks, which takes approx 15 mins.
